• Airbrick covers: Snap-on waterproof covers for airbricks (£20-50 each)
• Door guards: Removable flood barriers for doorways (£100-300)
• Non-return valves: Prevent sewage backing up through drains (£100-200 installed)
• Flood kit: Torches, batteries, important documents in waterproof bags, medication

Medium Investment (£500-£5,000)

• Flood doors: Purpose-built doors that seal against floodwater
• Sump pump: Automatic pump in cellar or lowest point
• Landscaping: Redirect surface water away from property
• Raised electrics: Move sockets, meters and boilers above likely flood levels
